A legal disclaimer

At Architects of Tomorrow, we are committed to protecting the privacy, security, and personal information of our participants, mentors, parents/guardians, and community members. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, safeguard, and handle your information.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information strictly for operational, educational, and safety purposes:

  • Facilitating mentorship sessions, design workshops, and educational programming.

  • Sending program schedules, updates, announcements, and learning resources.

  • Coordinating with parents/guardians and securing necessary participation permissions.

  • Responding to questions, support requests, or application inquiries.

  • Maintaining internal administrative records and evaluating program effectiveness.

Information Sharing and Disclosure (Strict Non-Sharing Policy)

Architects of Tomorrow does NOT sell, trade, rent, or share personal information with any third parties for marketing, commercial, or promotional purposes.

Your information remains confidential and will only be disclosed under the following exceptional circumstances:

  1. Explicit Parental/Guardian Consent: When written authorization is explicitly provided by a parent or guardian (for example, featuring student design work or awards in organization showcases).

  2. Legal Compliance & Safety: If required to comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or court orders, or to protect the health, safety, and rights of our participants, staff, or community.

Children’s Privacy & Parental Rights

Because our mentorship programs serve youth and student participants, protecting children's privacy is a fundamental priority:

  • Parental Authorization: All personal data regarding minor participants must be submitted or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Minimal Collection: We do not condition a child's participation on disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary.

  • Parental Access & Control: Parents and legal guardians retain the right to review, update, or request the deletion of their child's personal information from our records at any time.

Data Security & Storage

We maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification. Access to personal information is restricted strictly to authorized team members and mentors who require access to fulfill their program responsibilities.

Your Rights and Data Retention

  • Data Retention: Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the operational goals outlined in this policy or to satisfy administrative requirements.

  • Access and Correction: You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, legal standards, or program structure. Any changes will be published with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
